Dr. Med. Giordano Fanton is an Anterior Segment Surgeon, specialized in Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He operates both in Italy and in Switzerland. He is responsible of the Ophtalmic Surgical Equipe for Policlinico di Monza (Milan) at Clinica Vialarda di Biella, his own city, and he is the Chief of Ophthalmic Surgical Unit in Lugano (Switzerland) at Centro Oculistico Lugano (COL). He is a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO), an Oftalmochirurgo of the Federatio Medecorum Helveticorum (FMH), American Academy of Ophthalmology Member (AAO) and an European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery member (ESCRS). He has performed more than 15000 phaco procedures, 1500 Femto Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery procedures, 3000 surgical  glaucoma procedures and 6000 refractive procedures (PRK, FEMTO, SMILE and ICL implants). He is a surgical and medical advisor for ZEISS Italia, Hoertli and LensAr.
