GIACOMO SAVINI
Giacomo Savini, MD, has dedicated his clinical research to IOL power calculation, with more than 200 published papers investigating the performance of different optical biometers and Scheimpflug cameras, the accuracy of new and old formulas for unoperated eyes and for post-LASIK eyes. He contributed to develop the Naeser-Savini toric calculator and the Hoffer QST formula.
